KFC Wants Your Nail Polish To Be 'Finger Lickin' Good'

If you constantly dream of a piece of fried chicken, and also love putting on nail polish, this is the best time to be alive.

Many women can probably relate to a moment their nail color was so on-point, they almost wanted to just lick it off. And to be honest, who doesn’t like having some fried chicken within their reach at all times? Serving both purposes, KFC in Hong Kong has introduced new nail polishes that are actually edible. Yes, you read that right.

The nail paints are available in two different flavors, the “Original” and “Hot and Spicy.”

“We got McCormicks, the food technologists who guard the secrets of KFC’s secret recipe to develop a solution based on natural ingredients to create this edible nail polish that hardens when dry, with a glossy finish,” Anna Mugglestone, the marketing director at Ogilvy Hong Kong said.

The nail paint will go into production toward the end of the year and until then people can vote for their preference on the KFC’s Facebook page.

In order to promote their latest creation the fast food brand even released this music video, which admittedly is rather catchy.

But will customers flock to the innovative nail colors? Having 24/7 access to KFC’s chicken flavor is pretty amazing, but having to lick it off your nails is rather gross.
