Angry Dads Confront Pastor Telling Children There Is No Santa

An evangelist pastor took it upon himself to ruin Christmas for children waiting in line to take pictures with Santa Claus at a mall.

Christmas is the time of celebration and magic, especially for children. From getting gifts to meeting Santa Claus — they wait for this time of the year eagerly.

But a pastor decided to almost ruin the excitement of some kids waiting in line to take a picture with Santa Claus at a Texas mall by telling them there is no such thing as Santa.

In the footage, David Grisham can be seen filming himself as he strolls into the mall and starts yelling that Santa wasn’t real and Jesus was the only true reason for this season.

Grisham, a preacher from Last Frontier Evangelism in Alaska, can be seen screaming around kids and parents, “Kids, I want to tell you today that there is no such thing as Santa Claus.”

“The man you’re going to see today is just a man in a suit, dressed up like Santa, but Santa does not exist,” he added.

“Santa’s not real. And parents you all need to stop lying to your children and telling them that Santa Claus is real when in fact he’s not.

“Do not lie to your children and tell them there is such a thing as Santa when you know in reality that there are no flying reindeer, there is no workshop at the North Pole, there is no elves making toys, that you buy all the gifts and put them under the tree,” he said.

Most of the parents initially ignored him, but some got annoyed by his antics when he didn’t stop.

Finally two dads decided to confront Grisham.

“I’ve got my kids over there, we don’t need you coming over here blabbing whatever it is you’re blabbing,” one father confronts him.

Grisham even tried to imply that he was being “assaulted” by a parent, “Sir, don’t put your hands on me,” he said.

“Then don’t come over here talking your myth,” remarked the angry dad.

“And tell your children the truth, that there is no Santa,” continued Grisham.

“That’s not your decision for me to tell my kids what’s the truth and what’s not,” responded the irritated man.

Eventually Grisham decided to leave, “Y’all have a nice day.”

Several people took to the mall’s Facebook page to express their concern about the incident. The mall acknowledged Grisham’s bizarre behavior in a statement sent to The Huffington Post.

“We want everyone at our shopping center to have an enjoyable experience,” the statement said. “All of the shoppers are expected to follow our code of conduct and will be asked to leave our premises if they don’t follow these rules.”

As far as Grisham is concerned, this wasn’t his first public preaching appearance. The Last Frontier Evangelism Facebook page has a video of Grisham planning to make appearances in different malls telling children that there is no Santa. He also urges other to do the same in their areas, to tell kids that Santa is a big lie, and that Christmas is all about Jesus, not about some man in a red suit giving toys to children.
