Trump Receives Endorsement From—Surprise!—Current KKK Leader

The Grand Imperial Wizard said that "a lot what he believes, I believe."

We know that David Duke, former Grand Wizard of the Ku Klux Klan, endorsed Donald Trump for president months ago, but now, the current Grand Imperial Wizard has also jumped on board.

Journalist Chris Thomas ventured into Virginia’s woods to interview the Wizard, and he had many generous things to say about Trump.

When asked about his presidential preferences, the Wizard explained, “I think Donald Trump would be best for the job. The reason a lot of Klan members like Donald Trump is because a lot of what he believes in, we believe in.”

The fact that Trump’s beliefs align with the KKK’s beliefs is disturbing enough—what’s worse is that at this stage, Trump is almost certainly going to be the nominee for the Republican Party, which means the majority of Republicans’ beliefs also align with KKK.

The Wizard claimed that the group’s ideologies had shifted from “racial” to more “political”; however, he also noted that President Obama had “been a very good recruiting tool for this organization.”

When asked about Ted Cruz, he said that while he may agree with his policies, “[Cruz] is not an American citizen. Even if I agree with some of the things that Ted Cruz says, I would not support him because he was born in Canada. He is not an American citizen.”

Trump has made a litany of disgustingly racist remarks over the past year, so it is unsurprising that both past and current KKK leaders support him so wholeheartedly.

Back when Duke endorsed him, Trump played dumb when asked to disavow the endorsement, claiming that he didn’t know who Duke was and had never met him. Only after enormous media backlash did Trump begrudgingly reject the endorsement.

Let’s see how long it takes him this time.
