Van Jones Just Called Trump 'Genius' For Pushing Voter Fraud Claims

“It could be the case that this is most genius thing Trump has ever done. We are talking about this and maybe he’s glad.”

As expected, the first few days of Donald Trump’s presidency are shaping up to be a horror show of epic proportions.

He is expected to sign executive orders on immigration that would not only restrict refugee admissions to the U.S. but also deny visas to individuals from countries his administration considers high-risk. The president has already reinstated a global gag rule that bans U.S.-funded groups around the world from discussing abortion.

He and his team also plan to advance construction of the Keystone XL and Dakota Access pipelines.

Instead of easing people’s worries and concerns over the actions his administration is taking, all Trump seems to talk about is the crowd size at his inauguration and the alleged illegal ballots that cost him the popular vote — despite the fact that officials have found no such evidence of voter fraud.

Just recently, the billionaire baron reportedly told the Capitol Hill leaders he would have won the popular vote if it hadn’t been for 3 to 5 million “illegals” — an offensive term referring to undocumented immigrants.

CNN commentator Van Jones raised an interesting point about the president’s repeated (unsubstantiated) claims during “Anderson Cooper 360.”

“Three to 5 million people is bigger than some of our states,” Jones said, admitting in a system where 180 million can vote “there will be some people who will do bad things.”

“Trying to get people to vote when they are eligible to vote is almost impossible,” he continued. “The idea that there’s 5 million people out there who are not eligible to vote, that you could somehow get to vote…”

Before he could complete his thought, Trump crony and CNN analyst, Jeffrey Lord, interrupted him.

“Why not find out how many?” he asked.

“Trump doesn’t want to, apparently,” Jones shot back. “It could be the case that this is the most genius thing that Trump has ever done, because we are talking about this, and maybe he’s glad. Because all these wonderful things that he’s done today are actually awful things from my point of view! He’s done terrible things. He’s shoving pipelines down people’s throat, he’s gagging people…”
