President Donald Trump is visiting Davos, Switzerland, for the World Economic Forum, and first lady Melania Trump was scheduled to join, as the couple would be celebrating their 13th wedding anniversary.
However, CNN has confirmed that Melania Trump will not be joining the president after all.
According to Stephanie Grisham, her director of communications, the first lady will have to rain check as “scheduling and logistical issues” have come up, keeping her from celebrating her wedding anniversary alongside the president.
While Grisham wasn’t specific when she mentioned the scheduling conflicts, one could wonder whether Melania Trump's decision to not go on the trip to support her husband has something to do with reports that the president may have cheated on her one year into their marriage.

On Jan. 12, it was reported that adult film star Stephanie Clifford had an affair with the president after the two met in July 2006, but Donald Trump and his wife wed on Jan. 22, 2005, and their son, Barron, was born just four months before the alleged affair.
The report also alleged that the actress was paid a large sum of money to stay quiet and deny that she had anything to do with the president. But in a 2011 interview with InTouch magazine, Clifford admitted to having an affair with Trump.
After the affair report first came to light earlier in January, the first lady went to Mar-a-Lago with her husband on Jan. 13 but failed to show up to two dinners hosted by the president at his golf resort. They were seen together again when they returned to Washington D.C. on Jan. 15.
Whether the first lady is avoiding accompanying her husband because of the recent revelations or not, we wouldn’t blame her for being upset. After all, Trump was caught having an affair once, cheating on a wife that he called "beautiful."
