President Obama has been discriminated against throughout his presidency, and one racist woman continues to be outraged that he is still our president.
Angela Fiume, 63, was arrested after she spit and used racial slurs at an African-American Metro transit officer at Riverfront Station in Nashville, Tennessee, the Nashville Patch reports.
Fiume was previously banned from the Greyhound bus station for her erratic behavior, and she later moved to the Riverfront Station, where she spat at the transit officer and said she “refused to let a black man tell her what to do.”
Along with verbally attacking the officer, Fiume expressed that she was upset that Obama was elected president, even though he was first elected eight years ago.
Fiume was charged with assault and disorderly conduct after the incident.
This incident is proof that racism is still alive in our country, and for this woman, it’s easier for her to lash out at another African-American man for Obama’s presidency rather than accept that a black man is our president.
