Earlier this year, a video of a young girl crying at President Barack Obama’s departure from the White House went viral after her grandmother, Caprina Harris, posted it on Facebook.
The clip showed Kameria Chayten profusely weeping as she learned that Obama, whom she shares her birthday with, was serving his last term in the Oval Office.
She then decided that she had to get in touch with the president, so she wrote him a letter.
"I don't want you to leave the White House. I want to meet you before you leave the White House," Kameria said.
"Tell her to dry her tears, because I'm not going anywhere. Once I leave the White House, I'll still be a citizen just like her. And when she grows up, she can get involved right alongside me,” Obama responded to the video on Facebook.
Luckily, the young Obama fan was finally granted her wish as she was invited to the White House. Images and videos that surfaced the Internet showed her priceless reaction as she met with the first family, getting hugs from them. A video on the delightful meeting even appeared on the official White House Facebook page.
Interestingly, Obama and his little fan girl are both left-handed.
