Zimmerman Says Trayvon Martin’s Parents ‘Didn’t Raise Their Son Right’

The Daily Beast conducted an interview with George Zimmerman who spewed disturbing, tactless insults against the family of the 17-year-old boy he killed.

George Zimmerman is really milking his “fame” by seeking attention in outrageous ways, and the media is feeding right into him.

Last week, the Florida man — who infamously got away with murdering 17-year-old Trayvon Martin — made headlines for auctioning off the 9mm handgun he used to do the deed. He even praised the weapon by marketing it as a piece of “American history.”

This week, The Daily Beast actually sat down with Zimmerman for an interview in which he criticized Black Lives Matter, Hillary Clinton, and the parents of the teenage boy he killed in cold blood.

Zimmerman, as if he had any right to do so, suggested that Trayvon’s fate was a result of the poor parenting skills of his mother, Sybrina Fulton, and father, Tracy Martin.

"They didn't raise their son right. He attacked a complete stranger and attempted to kill him," Zimmerman reportedly said.

"Sybrina Fulton and Tracy Martin did everything they could to capitalize on her son's death," he said. "She was never a mother figure to him. Tracy Martin couldn't have cared less about their son. He treated him like a dog without a leash."

In this same interview, Zimmerman tried to justify auctioning off his gun by claiming he needed money because Fulton and Martin have tarnished his image and “forced him into a life of infamy” which doesn’t open too many doors for regular employment, The Root reports.

"If I have to live my life and if I have to go about my business as a normal person, then I would do that. However, I'm not afforded that luxury anymore," he said. "You guys. The media. The masses. The Fulton-Martin family. They took that from me."

These statements are clear evidence that Zimmerman is totally out of touch with reality. He is deflecting the blame onto everyone but himself, which is more proof that he still feels no remorse for his actions.

The media, the masses, and the Martin family did not pull that trigger, he did.

Zimmerman approached Trayvon on Feb. 26, 2012, who undoubtedly retaliated out of fear.

As if Zimmerman’s rant wasn’t infuriating enough, he also slammed Black Lives Matter. He referred to the movement as a “fraudulent” and “violent campaign.”

It’s ironic that a man who killed a teenage boy, has been jailed for physically assaulting his significant other, and has beenidentified in a road rage incident believes that he is in any position to stigmatize Black Lives Matter as “violent.”

He also sent some insults in Hillary Clinton’s direction, claiming that he has an issue with the nature of her character and “anti-firearm rhetoric.”

"It has nothing to do with her presidential campaign," Zimmerman told the Daily Beast. "It's about her as an individual. It doesn't matter if she was running for president or if she was running her own used car lot, which I think she's still unqualified for."

While Zimmerman’s opinions and political views are of no importance or value to society, the fact that this type of human being exists and is being given a platform to share such verbal rubbish is hard to ignore.

He claims the notoriety he has obtained has prohibited him from carrying on with his life normally, and yet he seizes every opportunity to return to the spotlight and capitalize on his ability to spark controversy and enrage people.

Why can’t he just disappear like Casey Anthony?
