Alfie Becomes Internet Superstar With His Hocus Pocus Impression

You nailed it, Alfie! A Stockport, U.K. boy’s rendition of "I Put A Spell On You" from the film "Hocus Pocus" is quickly becoming a viral sensation — and even has original "Hocus Pocus" witch Bette Midler singing the boy's praises.

Five-year-old Alfie Shields' dad Steven filmed his Saturday morning performance of "I Put A Spell On You" as he danced around the living room and acted along to the film in the background. Alfie donned the perfect costume of a robe, blanket and wig. He sang every word and knew every part of the choreography.

Within hours of it being posted online the video had gone viral, and finally made its way to singer and "Hocus Pocus" actress Midler, who tweeted a link to Alfie's dad Steven's Facebook page, writing: "This is a must watch! Alfie nailed it!"

Since his dad posted the video of Alfie’s rendition, it has amassed more than 2 million views. People are just loving his moves.

Alfie's mom Emma, 31, said they couldn’t believe the reaction to the video.

“Alfie loves to put on a show and on Saturday, Alfie did just that and asked Steven to record him," Emma said. "“After the video Alfie asked Steven to put the video on Facebook as he wanted to see if Bette Midler would see it — we didn’t think she would. It was on Wednesday when Bette Midler saw his video and she commented and shared it on her Facebook and Twitter page.

“We just can’t believe that what was a simple video has now turned out viral with over 2.6 million views, over 34,000 shares and 11,000 comments on his video.”
