TA’s Clever Exam Question Lands Those Who Skipped Class In Tough Spot

For most students, skipping classes and simply turning up for exams seems like a great option – unless of course, they are asked to identify their teacher.

A Reddit user, who goes by the name dovahkid online, turned many students’ worst nightmare into a reality by sharing a picture of an exam question that cannot be answered by any amount of studying.

The image was titled, “After not taking attendance all quarter, my TA was out of town on exam day. This was the last question.” It showed four similar looking Asian men and asked students to identify their teaching assistant.

Obviously, anyone who hadn’t attended a decent number of classes would be less likely to pick the right option since all the men held close resemblance to one another.

"It is about half time of the whole quarter. So I guess everyone should know me in some sense. Let's do a simple quiz. Which of the following pictures is ME :)" read the question.

Fortunately, the question only amounted to one point and could not affect the students’ grades. However, the TA can now clearly see which students attended the classes and who just came in to take the exam.

“He probably just took pictures of the three other TAs he shares an office with,” one person wrote.

Another one who really seemed to enjoy the prank wrote: “I like to think that all four of them were in on it and the other three did the same thing with their students.”
