If you guessed that there were only two girls in the photo, you’re correct. Vergari chimed in on the comments to settle all the confusion. The image shows two sisters, who happen to be Vergari’s daughters, looking into mirrors.
The older girl is looking at a mirror that is out of the camera’s view which contributed to the trickery.
Vergari made a cryptic joke in her comment that she didn’t know how many people were in the picture, but she is definitely sure she only has two daughters.
Another viral phenomenon similar to this one occurred when a teen posted a photo of her mother, her twin sister and herself.
The resemblance between the three ladies was so uncanny, that the Internet nearly exploded trying to figure out who was who. People were particularly fascinated by how a mother of two teenage girls could look young enough to be their triplet.
Although the mystery is gone from Vergari’s photo, it is so elegant and captivating that it’s still receiving well-deserved attention.
