Former president of Mexico, Vicente Fox Quesada, had a few familiar words for President Donald Trump on Monday.
Following reports that Trump’s approval ratings are plummeting further and further into a dark abyss, Quesada took the opportunity to troll his nemesis with a tweet that cleverly used Trump’s own reality television catchphrase against him.
Quesada shared a graphic depicting a recent Gallup poll of 1,500 American adults that shows Trump’s approval rating at a measly 37 percent and a disapproval rating of 58 percent.
"America, tell it like it is: Donald, you're fired!" Fox wrote in the caption accompanying the image.
This was a critical blow to Trump, considering how passionate he is about ratings — just ask actor and former California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, who Trump berated several times for having poor ratings when he took over as host of “The Apprentice.”
The former Mexico leader has been a vocal critic of Trump, particularly ever since the United States president began trying to bully Mexico into paying for his ridiculous border wall.
Quesada gets kudos for a hard-hitting jab at Trump’s flop of a presidency, but sadly for Americans, it’s not as easy as it is on “The Apprentice” to really fire Trump.
