In One Tweet, Woman Obliterates Man Who Blames Muslims For Manchester

A woman who attended the concert where a deadly suicide bombing occurred had the perfect response to a troll who blamed all Muslims for the blast.

Following the terrible tragedy that occurred at an Ariana Grande concert on Monday evening, one woman who attended the show shut down an Islamophobic Twitter troll.

At least 22 people were killed and 59 others were injured as the result of a terror attack that has been deemed a suicide bombing. Using the Twitter handle @hannawwh, one of the surviving concertgoers tweeted directly from the scene.

After she posted a message expressing her heartbreak and condolences for the victims and their families, a follower responded by asserting, “This is what happens when you let Muslims in your country. #Manchester.”

His insensitive and inappropriate reply prompted @hannawwh to clap back with a tweet defending Muslims and shutting down the notion that the horrific acts of some extremists should be blamed on the entire religion.

Early Tuesday, Muslim leaders spoke out to condemn the attack and offer compassionate sentiments to all those who were affected.

“I love Manchester and its people — we are a resolute people and will not be divided by these barbaric animals or cowered by their violence,” said Mohammed Shafiq, chief executive of the Ramadhan Foundation in Manchester, according to The Independent

“We reject this barbaric terrorism, we commit to exposing the evil ideology of violence behind it and stand together with our fellow Mancunians,” he added.

Harun Khan, the secretary general of the Muslim Council of Britain, also weighed in on the tragedy.

“May the perpetrators face the full weight of justice both in this life and the next," he said. “I urge all those in the region and around the country to pool (sic) together to support those affected.”

The isolation and demonization of Muslims is exactly the reaction these attackers want when they commit these heinous crimes. The only people who should be getting blamed for this act are those actually responsible for committing it.
