GOP presidential drop-out and South Carolina senator Lindsey Grahamdid not hold back while roasting his former opponents during the Washington Press Club Foundation Dinner Thursday night.
“If we don’t win this election, when are we ever going to win one?” Graham said of his party early on in his speech— which is probably more of a real concern than a joke.

He also declared that his “party has gone batsh*t crazy.” While it may have been a joke, he’s definitely telling the truth.
He went on to make some really cruel statements about Ted Cruz, “If you kill Ted Cruz on the floor of the Senate, and the trial was in the Senate, nobody could convict you,” he said.
Graham also verbally attacked Marco Rubio when he quipped, “I'm not saying he would change his positions, but he would change his positions. The Secret Service's main job if he's president is to keep him hydrated,” referencing Rubio’s dramatic swig of bottled water that went viral in 2013.
Of course, no Republican can get through a speech without insulting President Barack Obama. Graham killed two birds with one stone by insulting Cruz and Obama in the same sentence.
“I will say that our Canadian is better than your Kenyan," he joked. "I know exactly when Ted is going to drop out of the race. March 12 — that's Canadian week in Myrtle Beach, when all of our Canadian friends get 10 percent off.”
Despite his no-holds-barred attacks on everyone else, he still had enough juice to joke about his own failed campaign and his subsequent endorsement of Jeb Bush whose time has also run out.
In an attempt to put the same “curse” on Donald Trump, Graham sported a “Make America Great Again” hat and said, “I endorse Donald Trump and hope the Graham magic still exists!”
In all honesty, watching Graham humorously annihilate his party, exposing them all for their lies, hypocrisy, flip-flopping and shaky politics was probably the best portion of the entire dinner.
