It seems counselor to the president Kellyanne Conway secretly actually hates President Donald Trump — and is an even better liar than people already know she is.
MSNBC hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski dished some dirt on Trump’s long-time aide, claiming she used to bitterly complain about defending a man she did not have faith in.
“This is a woman, by the way, who came on our show during the campaign and would shill for Trump in extensive fashion, and then she would get off the air, the camera would be turned off, the microphone would be taken off, and she would say, ‘Blech. I need to take a shower,’ ” Brzezinski said on “Morning Joe.” “Because she disliked her candidate so much.”
According to the duo, Conway referred to her time working as campaign manager for Trump as a European vacation which would soon be over.
"Also said, very interesting, she also said, ‘This is just, like, my summer in Europe. This is like my vacay —I’ll be off this soon,’" Scarborough chimed in. "I don’t know that she ever said, ‘I’m doing this for the money,’ but she said, ‘This is just my summer vacation, my summer in Europe.’ And, basically, ‘I’m just gonna get through this.’ ”
“‘But first I have to take a shower because it feels so dirty to be saying what I’m saying.’ I guess she’s just used to it now,” Brzezinski added.
Scarborough also added that after The Washington Post released an “Access Hollywood” audio recording of Trump where he claimed to grab women “by the p****,” she tried to distance herself from the then-presidential candidate. According to the two hosts, Conway then started to refer to Trump as her “client.”
“‘My client,'” Scarborough said. “Separating. ‘I don’t believe in this guy. He’s just my client. It’s just a paycheck.’”
@lauferlaw Could you imagine Kellyanne Conway under oath? The woman can't speak two sentences without lying.— Nick Stone (@nick_stone3) May 15, 2017
Kellyanne Conway needs a shower after speaking for Trump; & we all need a shower after listening to her.— Rogue WH Pizza Rat?? (@GenericHeretic) May 15, 2017
That explains the water shortage.
Conway, who was once the CEO of a polling company, started the 2016 election campaign working for a super PAC that backed Texas Sen. Ted Cruz. After the Republican dropped out of the race, Conway joined Trump’s campaign and consequently became his campaign manager, often vehemently supporting him on air.
Considering the fact that Trump was hardly her first choice and shared no love with Cruz, it’s no surprise Conway would grouse about Trump behind the scenes. However, as she did not resign after Trump became president (given the fact she called her stint as his campaign manager a vacation), it’s possible her feelings towards the billionaire mogul underwent a 180-degree change.
Still, the MSNBC hosts' reveal belies the fact that people who stand up for Trump also always believe in him.
