Norwegian Newspaper Wants To Send Trump To A Deserted Island

A journalist tweeted a joke about President Donald Trump published by a Norwegian newspaper that would be a dream come true for the world, and especially for America.

Although Donald Trump's presidency symbolizes frightening times with the rise of white supremacy and concerns over the re-emergence of fascism, people are trying to carry on with life as normally as possible — which includes remembering to laugh.

Mocking Trump has become the best defense the world has against his ridiculous antics, and various countries have joined in, including Norway.

On Tuesday, Journalist Kim Rathcke Jensen tweeted a photo of an excerpt from a Norwegian newspaper, which published one of the greatest Trump burns so far this year.

Jensen's caption included the translation:

Q: "If you were stranded on an island, who would you bring along?"

A: "I'll take one for the team and bring along Trump."

Aside from being hilarious, the offer is incredibly generous considering that most would find the thought of being stranded anywhere with Trump completely unbearable.

Jensen's tweet has since gone viral, garnering over 300 replies, more than 19,000 retweets, and upwards of 45,000 likes.

Unfortunately, it was only a joke, and the U.S. is still stuck with the guy, bringing a whole new meaning to "God bless America."
