A 3-year-old Georgia girl straight up snatched Pope Francis’ cap off of his head.

As the pontiff leaned in to give the toddler a kiss on the cheek, she slyly reached up and took the bright white zucchetto, as it’s called.

The pope obviously has a great sense of humor because instead of scolding the young girl for what she had done, he broke out in laughter.

The scene was caught on video, which has since gone viral on social media.

The toddler was identified as Estella Westrick, who was visiting Rome with her parents and was taken to meet the pope by her godfather, Mountain Butorac, USA Today reports. He’s a Catholic tour organizer who moved to Rome from Atlanta three years ago.

“Right before she went up she was a little nervous,” Butorac told CNN. “Then she stole his hat. It was hilarious. Everyone was laughing, including the pope.”

Several Twitter users responded to Butorac’s video, many of them applauding how good-humored the pope was about the whole ordeal.

This is definitely a step above pulling the fake beard off of the “Santa Clause” at your local mall during Christmas time.
