Tomi Lahren Hates Obamacare, But Has No Problems Using It

“Well luckily, I'm 24, so I am still on my parents' [plan],” Tomi Lahren said about her health care plan, which just happens to be the one she wants to axe.

A loud-mouthed Obamacare opponent inadvertently revealed she herself benefits from a key feature of the Affordable Care Act.

The former conservative commentator of The Blaze, Tomi Lahren, faced off with comedian Chelsea Handler at Politicon, a convention in Pasadena, California, where the two discussed the pros and cons of the much-debated health care act.

In true Tomi Lahren-style, the 24-year-old went on an epic rant against Obamacare as she has done on multiple previous occasions.

One of her on-record condemnations came just a few days before the Senate rejected the “skinny repeal” health care bill, in which she stated, “We are one step closer to sending the unaffordable care act to the sewer with the rest of the swamp rats. To the bleeding heart Democrats trying to pass this off as a death sentence to Americans, give it a rest. You’re full of crap. And enough with the fake numbers — 22 million people aren’t losing healthcare. Actually, millions of people will be able to choose if they want it instead of the almighty Democrats force feeding it to us by government mandate.”

This time around, once again, the perpetually angry media personality slammed the health care law, but in her near-hysterical rant, she let slip one crucial thing.

When Handler asked her whether she had a health care plan, Lahren replied:

“Well luckily, I'm 24, so I am still on my parents' [plan].”

Aha! So she does benefit from Obamacare despite working to kill it.

Hypocritical much, Lahren?

A key feature of the current health care law allows parents to keep their children on health insurance policy until they turn 26. Before the 2010 law, children were cut off from their parents’ insurance plan at age 19 or, for full-time students, at age 22. Considering the fact that Lahren is 24 years old, not a college student and became recently unemployed, it is a bit rich of her to talk about axing a bill that’s keeping her health secured with zero expense on her part.

Naturally, the crowd burst into boos and jeers after Lahren triumphantly proclaimed this.

So, does Lahren not understand if the ACA is repealed without an appropriate alternative health care plan in place, more than 22 million people, including herself, will lose health care?

Talk about shooting yourself in the foot.
