Employee Who Shut Down Trump’s Twitter Hailed As Hero

Twitter users praised the employee who suspended President Donald Trump's account on Thursday, with some even recommending the individual for the Nobel Peace Prize.

The mastermind behind the glorious 11 minutes that President Donald Trump’s Twitter account was shut down has become the internet’s newest hero.

After Trump’s account was temporarily suspended Thursday night, Twitter tried to cover things up by claiming it was the result of “human error by a Twitter employee,” however, the social media giant later revealed that a customer support employee pulled the stunt and asserted that a “full internal review” was underway, Time reports.

By Friday Morning, Trump responded to the situation by deeming the person responsible a “rogue” employee.

“My Twitter account was taken down for 11 minutes by a rogue employee. I guess the word must finally be getting out-and having an impact,” he wrote.

All things are back to normal with Trump’s account, but the internet is still reeling over the 11-minute vacation the world got from the president’s unhinged tweetstorms and personal attacks.

The unidentified employee is most certainly losing their job over this, but that’s a small price to pay in exchange for going down in history as the legend that, albeit briefly, managed to shut Trump up.
