Paincourtville, Louisiana experienced an EF3 category tornado last week which FedEx driver, Kyra Johnson, got caught in. Steve Caparotta, a Baton Rouge meteorologist, posted CCTV footage of Johnson’s miraculous survival as the storm took out nearly everything in its path.
In the video clip, you can see the working mother run toward Sagona’s Hardware store only to find that the door was locked. Johnson then attempted to take cover behind a vending machine as the entire roof was pulled off of the building.

As the tornado's winds blow harder, the camera flickers out but Johnson detailed the whole ordeal in a Facebook post, praising God for shielding her in a “protective bubble” and noting that her life flashed before her eyes as she prayed the entire time.
Several businesses and homes were severely damaged by the tornado but luckily, there were no fatalities. It’s a wonder why Johnson was even out working with such a heavy storm blowing through town, but the terrifying experience likely made her greatly appreciate her life and how precious it really is.
